Debola Immanuel

Debola Immanuel is a freelance licensed Cosmetologist who has built a career that has taken her beauty journey from snipping and nipping tresses behind studio lights in Lagos and Cape Town, painting and primping faces on production sets in  London and Rome to styling and taming wild manes on the busy streets of Dubai and Manhattan.

Shortly after her cosmetology training at the Aveda Institute Atlanta/New York, Debola relocated to Lagos, Nigeria where she gained a wealth of opportunities and experiences. Working in the many diverse platforms the beauty industry has to offer, Debola has acquired a strong work ethic, skill and knowledge in her craft. With a heavy background in Fashion and Production Beauty, Debola’s work has been featured on editorial platforms such as ELLE South Africa, InStyle.com, Essence.com, Forbes Africa Woman, and a healthy amount of Fashion Look books and Ad Campaigns for some of Africa’s top fashion designers. Her production/TV/Commercial credits include a plethora of Music videos for Afrobeats singing sensation, Tiwa Savage; Key Hair/Makeup Artist for supermodel Oluchi Orlandi for Africa’s Next Top Model; TV commercials and Ad Campaigns for mega brands such as Pampers and Pepsi and Key Makeup Artist on the MTV video music awards nominated music video ‘Walk it, Talk it’ by Grammy award winning musicians ‘Migos’. Other notable clients include the likes of Femi Kuti, Yvonne Orji, Asa, Mayowa Nicholas, Genevieve Nnaji and Eku Edewor. Debola also has a strong background in a salon setting as she owned and operated Lewa Studio, a multi faceted beauty space in Lagos, which serviced the everyday beauty needs of its clients.

Debola is seasoned in the artistry of cut, colour, blowdry/styling, relaxers, various types extensions, custom wig making and protective styling as well as Makeup Artistry and Male grooming.  Debola works with ALL HAIR AND SKIN TYPES AND ETHNICITIES.
